Congratulations to Lorna Okotto for successfully defending her thesis and being awarded a PhD.
Lorna has been studying the role of independent water providers in the provision of water services to residents in Kisumu, Kenya, and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The project, funded by the Leverhulme Trust, analysed the business models used by IWPs with the aim of defining mechanisms by which they might be integrated into the formal water supply system.
