IWA/WHO announce the publication date for the book Valuing Water, Valuing Livelihoods: Guidance
on social cost-benefit analysis of drinking-water interventions, with
special reference to small community water supplies
A collaboration between the Universities of Johannesburg, East Anglia and Surrey, funded by the World Health Organization and Health Canada, designed and tested procedures for the social cost benefit analysis of providing water supplies to small communities. This book reviews the methods of social cost-benefit analysis and describes the procedures that were developed during this project.
